There is just something about this time of year that I absolutely love. Maybe it’s the chill in the air, the smell of pumpkins, hot chocolate, or just knowing that the holidays are right around the corner. Regardless, I love fall!
Fall also brings with it the idea of harvest. Traditionally, it was this time of year when farmers and communities would harvest their crops and begin to prepare for the winter months. That brought with it a time of celebration, as people would thank God for His provisions.
I want to encourage you to take time this harvest season to reflect upon the good- ness of God in your life. Have you thanked Him for His provisions in your life this year? Have you thanked Him for the blessings He has given our church and ministry?
And if you are thankful, now is a good time to express that gratitude by getting busy in His Kingdom. Scripture says that we are “God’s fellow workers,” God’s “field” and God’s “building.” We are admonished to labor together to accomplish His purposes.
My prayer for us is that we would get busy doing the work of the church. This fall, let’s plant together, water together, and watch God give the growth!
Happy Fall Y’all,
